Your size and width-if you know whether or not you are narrow , medium or wide.

The three styles of Ghillies are the Hullachan Highland Competition (HHC) This is the traditional Hullachan shoe with the half pad and a 1.6mm thick shock absorbent insole. Suitable for the competitive dancer

 

The Hullachan Highland Regular (HHR) A double thickness pad 3.2mm suitable for Adult dancers and Scottish Country Dancers. Also good for general practice.

 

The new Hullachan Sadie Simpson (HSS) Based on the HHC I extended the outer and inner sole to make a cleaner arch line which is very helpful to competitive dancers who need better arch definition and support. .It should be fitted a little tighter than the other styles.

 

The fourth style is the padded hand stitched slip on shoe designed for the slightly more mature Scottish Country Dancer who likes a padded sole and heel section. Made in a durable soft leather this shoe has elastic drawstrings and a optional elastic bar.

 

Finally the new Hullachan Scottish Jig Shoe. Limited production.

The new Hullachan  Competition Highland shoe. Slimmer appearance on the foot, thinner insole for less profile at front and improved heel shape. Red Stitching and pale grey  outer soles. Returns from overseas:
Please mark on the customs form that the slippers are being returned to maker. Value at $5 only. I will not accept shoes that are not so marked as I will otherwise be forced to pay large import and customs charges which I will have charge to the person returning the shoes. Please remember this.

Returns without a purchase.

If shoes are returned without any purchase we will refund less our postage costs of £3.50 per pair sent  worldwide for soft shoes. This covers our cost for Stamps and packaging.

Scottish Jig shoes returned: postage charge deducted will be £4.50 per pair for the UK and worldwide £10 per pair.

Size Chart

Please note that these sizes do not apply to other makes of dance shoes and are based on relative fittings or how the dancer likes to fit the shoes. A tighter fit or a looser fit may mean a different size of course. These are the average fittings. Men’s sizes may require a slightly bigger fitting. All sizes are approximate and for guidance only. I made the chart as an rough comparison for your dance shoes to your outdoor shoes. Of course  dance shoes are smaller than outdoor shoes and as such the chart, as a general guide,  has been approximated to reflect that. However, I am also happy to send you 2 or 3 pairs to try as long as at least one pair has been paid by credit card. In other payment methods I will charge for the number of pairs and refund the returns.
